**_The Opportunity:_**
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join the Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Advisor.
This role is based at the Reliance Head Office in Point Cook and is a
**part-time** position of 3 - 4 days per week, however, there could be the potential for the hours to increase in the future based on the requirements of the business.
This role will suit an individual with experience in professional administration, with an interest in HR and the desire to learn and progress.
**_Duties may include, but not limited to:_**
- Maintain and update employee records
- Coordinate the on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Assist in the preparation of job descriptions
- General HR administration duties including maintaining and updating HR documentation, and databases including templates and policies and procedures.
- Ensure data is current, accurate and relevant and all reporting is kept up to date
- Assist in health and safety compliance
- Assist in overall compliance and auditing requirement
- Contribute to the delivery of HR projects and initiative
- Provide overall HR administration assistance and support to the Human Resources Advisor
- Assist with recruitment coordination including reference checking

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional administration role
- ???????Efficiency in the Microsoft Suite
- Ability to learn new systems and software, quickly and efficiently
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives and deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously along with being part of a team in a cohesive and responsive manner
- Take initiative with problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable and dependable
- Exposure or interest in Human Resources is highly desired
- Completion of a HR competency is desirable, not essential
