Future Proof Dog Training Academy is seeking a **Daycare Duty Supervisor** to oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and manage social group dynamics in our structured, enrichment-focused daycare. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of canine behaviour, and a passion for positive training methods.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and mentor daycare staff in dog behaviour, play interactions, and training.
- Conduct daycare behaviour assessments and oversee dog integration into social groups.
- Manage daily dog intake, returns, and client communications regarding behaviour and health.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and clean environment per veterinary hygiene standards.
- Capture and share media content for internal updates and social platforms.
- Assist with rostering, OHS compliance, and supporting work experience staff.

**Requirements**:

- Cert 3 in Animal Certificate or a relevant qualification (or working towards).
- Strong knowledge of canine behaviour and Fear-free training methods.
- Experience managing dogs in group settings, with a focus on structured play.
- Previous experience in leadship or managing staff/teams
- Physical ability to handle multiple dogs in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s licence.

Pay: From $26.05 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wangara, WA 6065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- working with dogs (daycare, boarding, shelter): 3 years (required)
- Supervising: 2 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
