Chief Quality and Risk Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Quality and Risk Officer to join our executive team. The position will play a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Framework, incorporating both corporate and clinical governance.
The Chief Quality and Risk Officer is responsible for consumer/client safety, risk management and quality improvement systems and processes. This involves focusing on embedding a continuous improvement culture, using a quality indicator measurement and a risk management framework that enables transparent incident reporting, data analysis, trending and benchmarking with validation of compliance via audit.
The Chief Quality and Risk Officer will assist management with accreditation under the relevant standards and promote compliance with jurisdictional clinical-related policies and procedures. The Chief Quality and Risk Officer also coordinates the development and regular review of policy and procedures and evaluates practice by coordinating the audit and review process and introducing improvements to service delivery founded on best practice.

**What you can bring to the position**:
- Essential:_
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing undergraduate degree.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- High-level ability to utilise information management and computer systems.
- Working knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Act including the Aged Care Quality Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles, Documentation Standards, Consumer/Client Rights, and other relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practices.
- Desirable:_
- Tertiary qualification/s in quality management frameworks.
