Tyrecycle Transport Compliance Officer

**Your Opportunity**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Transport Compliance Officer** to Join our team in** Erskine Park, NSW**

This position is pivotal in providing support for the Erskine Park Collections team at Tyrecycle. Responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and optimised collection operations to achieve site targets in collaborations with key stakeholders across the business. You will have national oversight on fleet maintenance, fatigue management and will oversee internal reporting systems and internal reviews and audits in line with our policies and procedures and key Chain of Responsibility requirements

**The key objectives of this role are to**:

- Drive a culture of safety through role modelling and compliance to safety systems and standards.
- Drive improvement and ongoing compliance with relevant National Heavy Vehicle Laws and OT and Fatigue Management policies.
- Design and implement improvements in communication, monitoring and compliance standards and safety management systems.
- Identify business risks with recommendations to eliminate / alleviate
- National oversight on fleet maintenance through record keeping and non-compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to efficiently build and implement collections solutions through systems.
- Coordinate and conduct audits, tracking trends and incident reporting.
- Supporting key stakeholders with onboarding processes
- Working collaboratively with operations and sales team to reach daily targets

**About You**:

- Logistics and/or Transport experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Sound understanding of compliances, fleet systems and national regulations
- Proficient in systems support through tracking and planning
- Excellent work ethic and values importance of compliance in fleet systems
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
- Desire to challenge existing processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
