**What **you’ll** do**:
- Drive and contribute to the development and implementation of the data and analytics function, including the development and tracking of key indicators.
- Provide structured analytical expertise to support decision-making and evaluation of operational, property, safety, security and projects.
- Investigate, perform root cause analysis and understand performance drivers to provide actionable insights that proactively mitigate or address emergent risks across operations, safety, projects, property, security and fleet.
- Contribute to good documentation practices that enable replicable processes for evaluation, monitoring and quality improvement.
- Work alongside operational teams to understand performance drivers, supporting the business to elevate operational resilience, safety and financial efficiency by helping them understand the implications of different delivery models.
- Contribute to the development of the data analytics self-service capability and creation of data visualisation standards across the team, enhancing organisational capabilities in data visualisation and associated techniques.
**What we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Systems or similar business discipline.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following: R, SQL, Python or data visualisation tools (Qlik Sense would be a bonus).
- Working knowledge of: Agile delivery frameworks and practices; continuous improvement tools and techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma); and/or Project management skills (scheduling and task management) and an understanding of Scrum ceremonies.
- Knowledge and skills across a range of data-related functions such as the statistical analysis of large datasets, systems design, data linkage and management.
