We are very excited to be partnering with one of our best clients in Western Sydney in a search for up-and-coming
**HYDRAULIC DESIGNER/ BIM MODELLER.**

Our client has been around for over 30 years delivering multidisciplinary projects in hydraulics, fire, civil and environmental field. They are big on innovation, technology and delivery to their clients.

Due to number of recent project wins they are looking for an entry level Modeller/Designer to work in their Hydraulic team under the team leader and couple of other senior modellers. Our client encourages promoting from within the organisation and have career structured plans in place for you to see how you can progress through the ranks. Having a friendly and approachable team environment where everyone works collaboratively is critical in this organisation.

**Your role responsibilities would be to**:

- Assist with the delivery of the hydraulic component of a range of exciting projects
- Liaise with engineers to gather product and design requirements
- Liaise with other members of project teams to ensure that information flow in both directions occurs in a timely manner
- Provide input into schedules and specifications
- Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Revit
- Design of hydraulic layouts and diagrammatic drawings
- Identify potential operational issues to improve functionality
- Assist with the coordination of multi services drawings, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire and lifts

**Ideally, you will have**
- Some work experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Revit
- Use of a Windows based PC using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- High level of interpersonal skills
- An understanding of issues associated with building services and how they interface with other discipline systems in buildings
- Effective practical design skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work
- Willingness to learn other software packages as required
- Couple of years’ experience in building services design / drafting
