As a Hydraulic BIM Technician you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level across our Building Services discipline.
The ideal candidate will possess building services industry exposure as a hydraulic design drafter/modeller and a desire to develop their design skills in this exciting role.
Duties & Responsibilities- Produce hydraulic services designs drawings and models to current Australian standards and authority codes.
- Ensure that accurate drawings and models are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter.
- Solid knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and other software is advantageous.
- Attention to detail when modelling and producing drawings for accuracy and presentation.
- Excellent knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and building regulations.
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete drawings and models from a design brief.
- Ability to conduct client meetings and on-site measures if requested.
- Excellent commercial construction knowledge is imperative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
You will be great with people and experienced in all facets of the design process throughout.
