We're looking for great up and coming journalists to hone their skills in our immersive internship program. We want to work with people who are passionate about storytelling and connecting with audience through digital journalism.

**Job Description**:
**Day to day you will**:

- Create infographics, maps and composite images for stories, home pages, newsletters and special event coverage
- Produce engaging motion graphics for original video content
- Edit videos to a high standard using Premiere Pro
- Interpret creative briefs
- Pitch ideas for graphics and videos
- Help with daily video news tasks where required

This is not a reporting or writing role but will involve covering breaking news when needed. Some weekend work and evening work will be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in digital design or video
- An excellent understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro (with high level skills in video editing)
- Exceptional flare for design and creativity
- Strong understanding of branding and style guides
- Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to effectively organise and manage working across multiple projects
- High attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills
- Experience in interpreting raw datasets for data visualisation tools with a basic Knowledge of HTML and CSS would be an advantage
- Videography skills would be an advantage
- Experience working in a digital news or lifestyle environment is a plus
