Teacher of Physics

**Positions Details**:

- Commencement Date: January 2025
- Position Type: Full time ongoing

**Position 1: Teacher of Physics**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach Physics to students across level 10 to 12.
- Teach General Science and/or Mathematics across level 7 to 10.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Prepare students for assessments and ensure they meet academic benchmarks.
- Foster critical thinking and a love for science in the classroom.

**Position 2: Teacher of Food Technology**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach Food Technology to students across level 7 to 12.
- Plan practical lessons focused on culinary skills, nutrition, and food safety.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and manage practical assessments.

**General Requirements for Both Roles**:

- Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
- A strong commitment to Catholic education.
- An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- An ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students.
- An eagerness to learn.
- An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning.

**Special Requirements**:

- The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
