Working within a highly unionised blue-collar workforce within a large environmental services organisation, your new role will involve:
- Supporting managers with reporting requirements and Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
- Assisting managers with IR/ER inquiries, retention and recruitment.
- Conducting IR investigations and making recommendations.
- Providing performance management support to managers.
- Identifying and coordinating labour hire needs with recruitment agencies.
- Providing details to labour hire agencies when removing temporary workers.
Supported by a Senior HRBP, you will be working closely with the HR team to help manage employee relations and industrial relations inquiries. The division you will be supporting is considered high-risk and the workers deal with hazardous situations, high-pressure environments and is a male-dominated workforce.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations or Management
- Worked with blue-collar and/or industrial workers
- Exposure to Enterprise Agreement negotiations
- Knowledge of administrative requirements of employee relations and industrial relations
- Experience in investigations and formal proceedings involving employees
- Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills, capable of dealing with all levels
- Strong communication and negotiation skills - written & verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise your work load
