The Workforce Optimisation Manager is responsible for optimising workforce efficiency through effective rostering, training and compliance management. This role translates wage budgets into store-level targets, supports Store Managers in managing labour through Dayforce insights and ensures payroll and industrial compliance execution.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Streamline training and governance for rostering and executing the most effective and efficient store operating model across multiple brands
- Translate wage budgets and forecasts from Commercial Finance into store-level targets, providing Store Managers with guidelines to manage rostering effectively
- Lead efforts to continuously improve workforce planning processes, rostering systems and operational governance
- Leverage Dayforce insights and financial reporting to track and address labour variances, ensuring accountability by store teams
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the People team to ensure compliance and maintenance of system rules in line with labour regulations, wage budgets, audit requirements and store policies
- Ensure seamless execution of payroll and compliance requirements through Dayforce, resolving any discrepancies efficiently
- Embrace uncertainty and change while facilitating and enabling strategic change with clarity, empathy and optimism
- Collaborate across group, building team cohesion and connection, to inspire and bring our House of Brands strategy to life.

**Key Capabilities**
- Senior leadership experience in workforce planning, labour management or related roles, preferably in a Retail environment
- Demonstrated experience managing workforce forecasting, rostering and budget allocation across multiples brands or store archetypes
- Proven track record of implementing workforce optimisation strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost control
- Proficiency in workforce management systems (Dayforce or similar), payroll systems and HRIS platforms
- In-depth knowledge of employment regulations and labour compliance requirements, including wage laws, rostering requirements and industry standards
- High level of commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of profitability levers for stores across different brands and operating models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in simple, actionable ways to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Finance and Store Managers
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically and adapt plans to meet changing business needs.
