**Position Overview**:
As a Paralegal within their Wills & Estates Team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting their legal team with all aspects of estate planning, probate, and administration matters. You will work closely with clients to guide them through the estate planning process and provide support in the administration of estates after a client's passing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Client Consultation**: Meet with clients to discuss their estate planning needs, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- **Document Preparation**: Draft and review legal documents related to wills, trusts, and estate planning.
- **Asset Valuation**: Coordinate asset valuation and inventory of estate assets.
- **Beneficiary Communication**: Communicate with beneficiaries and heirs regarding their inheritance rights and entitlements.
- **Estate Tax Matters**: Assist in estate tax planning and compliance.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of estate assets, debts, and distributions.
- **Client Support**: Provide compassionate and empathetic support to clients during difficult times.
- **Stay Informed**: Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations in Queensland.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Queensland's estate planning laws and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach to estate planning and administration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a legal team.
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
