Sydney, Australia Thanks Full time

As a founding **Strategic Key Account Lead** - **Advertiser Partnerships**, you will be responsible for managing and growing advertiser relationships across both Australia and the US (with UK expansion in Q1 2025). This role requires a proactive, organized, and client-focused professional with a strong background in digital advertising and account management. You will be responsible for revenue generation, retention of key accounts, and ensuring long-term year-over-year growth for both new and existing clients.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams—including sales, marketing, product, and operations—to drive strategic initiatives, exceed client expectations, and maximize revenue opportunities. This role blends sales strategy, account management, and relationship-building to deliver value to clients and the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Account Management**:

- Manage a portfolio of existing advertiser accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and continuous growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand clients' advertising and marketing objectives, providing strategic recommendations to enhance performance.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, delivering regular insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct End-of-Month (EOM) reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess account health and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and promptly resolve any issues.

**Strategic Planning & Growth**:

- Develop and execute tailored account strategies to drive MoM and YoY revenue growth.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional products and services.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform client strategies.
- Provide data-driven reporting and insights to clients to improve campaign ROI and performance.

**Collaboration & Internal Communication**:

- Partner closely with internal teams, including customer success, product, and technical support, to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Offer client feedback and feature requests to the product team to improve advertiser solutions.
- Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless integration into the Thanks ad tech ecosystem.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience in advertising, publishing, account management, or a related field, with a strong track record in digital advertising, mar-tech, or ad-tech environments.
- Proven experience in account management and/or partner success, with expertise in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of the advertising ecosystem in the US and/or Australian markets is preferred.
