You will play a key role in delivery of education and training to undergraduate students in nursing
**As a Clinical Facilitator, your responsibilities will include**:
- Work in partnership with the Education Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Educators to facilitate student professional experience placements
- Deliver education and support to students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement
- Maintain an ongoing communication of student/staff expectation and provide learning that meets the needs of students
- Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation, participation, reflection, skill development, tutorials and seminars.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum 3 years’ Registered Nursing experience in an acute environment (Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred)
- Postgraduate studies in clinical education or preceptor course completion is desirable
- Working with Children check
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work across a rotating roster
