Leading and supervising a committed team, you will ensure a proactive, high quality and cost effective turf management service is provided across the City’s public open spaces.

You possess well developed interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating across all levels of the organisation and the community it serves. Experienced in staff supervision and development, contractor management and safety and health legislation you will hold a qualification in Turf Management, or demonstrated learned knowledge through substantial experience, along with a current ‘C’ class driver’s licence and Construction Induction Training (White Card).
- Advanced knowledge of turf management and public open space maintenance
- Comprehensive knowledge in the preparation and implementation of cyclical maintenance schedules
- Strong written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication
- Intermediate level of computer literacy skills
- Strong supervisory skills in relation to WHS monitoring
- Extensive demonstrated experience in the supervising operational maintenance requirements of all turf and public open space functions including in house field staff and contractors
- Experience in human resource management inclusive of performance management of underperforming employees
- Certificate IV in Turf Management or demonstrated learned knowledge through substantial experience working within the commercial turf management field

**We are offering a gross cash salary of $88,929 per annum, and**:

- 11% superannuation and the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5%
