Our client is a notable pharmaceutical company that specializes in supplements.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer, the role of WHSE Specialist will be responsible for:

- Providing continuous improvement of WHSE initiatives to the organisation
- Working with Manufacturing to ensure best practice inline with government rules, regulations and industry standards
- Working with internal sales and direct customer teams to continue to deliver safety and environmental improvements within our collaborations
- Continually performing risk based assessments of systems, processes and equipment
- Ongoing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and data gathering
- Continual development of in site waste management improvements with a target to achieve zero non hazardous waste to landfill, reduction in carbon footprint, zero LTA’s, reduction in TRFR, amongst
other key WHS and Environmental KPIs

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum of Certificate IV in WHS
- Experience in Environmental Systems and Procedures
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A sound understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and codes of practice
