Australian Flooring Systems (AFS) is a major player in the decorative flooring industry nationwide with over 15 years experience. With a new warehouse facility opening we are after a Sales/Warehouse assistant to assist our Sales Manager delivery quality product and services.

As the Sales/Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting customers with product selection and purchasing, and contributing to the overall success of our warehouse.

**Working closely with the Sales Manager you'll be doing**:

- Prepare and package orders from dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Conduct inventory checks and manage stock rotation
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Asst Manager with quotes and sales
- Assist in organising freight deliveries
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and free from any safety hazards
- Manage and keep up to date with Safety Data Sheets of all chemicals stored in the warehouse
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and store objectives

**What we're looking for**
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Previous trade experience or worked in stores like Bunnings, Mitre 10 or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service
- MS Office skills
- Forklift licence (beneficial)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Warehouse distribution: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
