Working within the Qantas Adelaide team, your position as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) will see you carrying out work in the Line Maintenance Department. This role will you perform Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers and company specification to a high standard. You will be responsible for delivering safe, cost effective, quality maintenance products and services to the airline.

You’ll have
- Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics)- Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) trade experience- Experience working on B738, A320 and/or A330 is desirable- Have a proven commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives- Have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders- Compliance with all Qantas safe working practices and service standards- Have excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage demanding schedules- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and independently- Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required- Highly developed attention to detail- Ability to work shift work- An Australian Drivers licence- Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
