**What you'll be doing**

The New Street Services Administrative Officer provides professional, competent and timely administrative services for the New Street Southern Service including but not limited to: booking client appointments, client registration, staff payroll support, establishment and maintenance of effective administrative systems and procurement.
To provide frontline reception to clients in a highly sensitive and complex clinical environment.

**Selection Criteria**
- Previous experience in working with vulnerable client groups from diverse backgrounds, with the ability to identify and respond to client needs at the point of initial contact with the service in a professional and respectful manner
- Demonstrated skills in interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Possess organisational skills required to set priorities, meet deadlines and show initiative in the resolution of urgent issues in an environment of minimum supervision and rapid change that also requires high levels of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience in various electronic systems and databases including Microsoft Office, electronic diary management systems, confidential record management systems, payroll, procurement, Health rostering and recruitment.
- Ability to write reports, documents and other correspondence, including drafting complex correspondence accurately and clearly, for the clinical team and clinical coordinator.
- Ability to carry out inspections and monitoring functions to ensure compliance with health regulations and policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
