Karan & Co are working exclusively with Hartecs Group to source a Business Case Manager for Transport Planning in support of their Queensland Operations.

This hybrid role 60/40 split working a combination of home and client offices

Hartecs Group are keen to engage with an experienced Consultant who is looking for more ownership and work life balance in their role. In this growing business you will have a seat at the table and be able to influence the strategic direction of business and quality of projects and work that you target and deliver.

We are seeking someone strong experience as a Consultant providing the provision of commercial and financial advice for detailed business cases in the roads industry ideally with Transport for Queensland or the Department of Transport in NSW.

**The Accountabilities**

Your role will include coordinating and developing transport assessment frameworks. You will also have previously developed corporate documentation around business cases with a strong understanding of the methodology of how we can do it and engaging subconsultants where required to deliver work. You will also be accountable for doing BCR calculations, stakeholder engagement and running and leading the business cases for transport infrastructure project work.

We are looking for someone to join the team who has a collaborative approach to delivering in your role. We are looking for strong capability across the following areas
- Experience and expertise in delivery of business cases in the transport sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and key stakeholder relationships, including previous relevant experience and performance.
- Demonstrated understanding of the current issues, risks and opportunities associated with the study area, related projects, and relevant stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in the consideration of strategic road transport issues, with strong knowledge in transport modelling and economics
