**Tell me about this role**:
We are seeking an experienced ILS professional to support the acquisition and introduction into service of a new aircraft. Primarily, the ILS professional is expected to support the planning, management and refinement of the supply chain arrangements.

**Day to day duties include: -**
- Preparations for, and execution of Post-Production Support Services (PPSS) that includes FMS sourced Performance Based Logistics arrangements with system OEMs.
- Analysis and planning associated with adoption and implementation of FMS sourced PBL arrangements within the Australian airworthiness and logistics policy environment
- Liaison and workshopping with US Government, US Industry and Australian stakeholders.
- Development of PBL Management Instruction(s), to inform and guide personnel.
- Oversight of PBL lay-in, implementation and refinement to PBL Management Instructions.
- Support to project Logistics Team
- Development of local work instructions
- Support to codification, cataloguing and asset reception activities
- Identify and resolve complex supply chain problems
- Assist with the adaptation of ERP concepts and processes to optimise the supply chain where required.

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Experience within Federal Government or Defence.
- Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
- Australian logistics frameworks, policy, process and tools (ESCM, DEFLOGMAN, MILIS and/or ERP).
- Management of aeronautical product (including environmental and maintenance considerations)
- Project and Product Management, particularly within ADF aviation
- High level attention to detail
- Strong writing skills and communication skills
