**About The Role**
As an Employee Central Officer, you will:
- Provide 1st level support for employees and managers with all generalist queries relating to payroll policies and procedures.
- Ensure all new hires are successfully on boarded prior to planned commencement
- Provide a central point of knowledge excellence relating to all payroll/HR systems
- Maintain employee files, registers, and databases, including forms and templates
- Assist with monthly reporting and audit control
- Maintain accurate records of Payroll documents and facilitate archiving and retrieval of documents
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR related discipline (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience within a large and complex environment
- Experience with Payroll and time & attendance system
- Experience with Awards and Agreements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work under limited supervision in a high transactional environment
- Strong people, communication and planning skills
