Grays Health and Fitness is a well-established business that has been operating for over 25 years.

We specialise in reconditioning high-quality, second-hand commercial gym equipment and have an extensive range of stock in huge warehouses amounting to over 26,000 square feet of floor space.

We supply second hand commercial gym equipment to gyms, health clubs, personal trainer studios and many other institutions all over Australia.

**The role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical and Electronics Technician for our Workshop based in Altona North. This position has an option to work part-time or full-time, working between 25-38 hours per week. With potential to progress into Permanent Full Time in the future if you would like to.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Troubleshooting and problem solving equipment failures
- Identifying defects of equipment and repairing faults
- Performing mechanical repairs
- Soldering and repairing of electronic componentry
- Swapping out wear and tear parts with new parts
- Responding to emergency work orders
- Ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to standard
- Ensure following OHS requirements
- Working within a small workshop team

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Previous experience as a Mechanical and Electronics Technician
- Current Drivers licence

**What you need to do now**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ALTONA NORTH, VIC 3025: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical repair (preferred)
- electrical repair and troubleshooting (preferred)
