
E-commerce Analyst

You will be responsible for analysing, reporting on and driving the performance of our e-commerce platform in the Australia & New Zealand. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of e-commerce trading, including customer acquisition, retention, conversion and an overall understanding of the customer journey. You will be able to interpret both on-site behavioural data and product purchase data to identity trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider e-commerce team as well as the Marketing and Product teams to develop and execute strategies that will drive growth in these regions. **What you will do**:
- Analyse website and sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Report on website performance and KPIs to senior management, highlighting key insights and areas for action.
- Taking the insight you discover and influencing stakeholders to drive optimisation across On Site and off site channels.
- Use data to inform customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Ensure that the customer journey is optimised for maximum conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that ecommerce trading is aligned with wider business objectives.
**What should you bring**:
- At least 3 years of experience in ecommerce trading or a related field
- Experience working on projects using tools & systems including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Contentsquare or other client-side reporting software
- Proven track record in delivering measurable business results through e-commerce trading strategies
- Understanding of SQL to write and modify queries to retrieve, manipulate and analyse large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of SQL based reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Google BigQuery.
- Any additional qualifications or certifications in ecommerce, marketing, analytics, or data science can be a plus.
- Will relentlessly pursue project and revenue targets
- Willingness to try innovative marketing strategies & Strong presentation, communication and team skills
