**About the role**:
The focus for the role of the Finance Officer is to work collaboratively within and across teams to ensure the effective and efficient operations of all aspects of finance, with a focus on the account receivable function. The role requires working within Finance, Payroll and Operations.
**You will**:
- Generate invoices to clients, including NDIS and Aged Care
- Be responsible for Debtor follow up, including the NDIS Portal
- Assist with the processing and reconciliation of receipts in Xero
- Receipt & allocate payments received in the bank account each day
- Undertake client/customer account reconciliations
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries with invoices & accounts
- Producing monthly financial and management reports
- Debt collection & credit control
- Liaise with Funders ensuring payment of invoices are made within established time limits
- Entering communication notes within Xero
**Essential requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- NDIS and/or aged care experience is highly regarded
- Experience with data management and reporting
**Additional requirements**:
