**How will I help?**

As a Risk Manager, you will be actively managing credit risk collection performance and participating in business improvement and optimisation initiatives. You will be involved in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective credit policies, as well as producing superior reporting and analysis of business portfolio trends that help improve collection effectiveness, portfolio profitability and customer experience. In addition to this you will:

- Conduct research, analyse and interpret portfolio performance trends relating to risk strategy and operational execution for Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) and Equipment Finance portfolios.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with the Lines of Business, Collections Operational team and external Collections vendors.
- Ensure portfolio management and policy changes are communicated effectively to the frontline and stakeholders.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the analytical field, ideally relating to credit risk management. You will have experience in pricing, marketing, customer relationship analytics and propensity modelling would also be considered. You must be proficient with big data extraction, manipulation and analysis. In addition, you will:

- Have a solid understanding of business, credit policy development and monitoring, stakeholder management and overall credit portfolio management.
- SQL or SAS programming ability.
- Have tertiary qualifications in the field of either analytics, actuarial studies, engineering, statistics, data science and/ or modelling
