NSW Government Agency is looking for a Risk Manager to join their team in Macquarie Park. You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the risk management function to ensure all project risks are proactively identified and effectively managed across the infrastructure project lifecycle by the development of a risk management framework and associated processes, systems and tools.

**The Role**:

- Provide a strong risk management framework to project performance managers and project managers to assist in on-going effective risk management.
- Lead the provision of expert advice in relation to risk and work with project teams to raise awareness and develop maturity to support the development and delivery of infrastructure projects to drive performance outcomes.
- Develop and implement the approach for quantitative schedule risk analysis
- Lead the development and maintenance of the risk management information system that identifies and assesses risks that would impact on the successful delivery of infrastructure projects
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the risk management strategies, policies, processes, and tools on a regular basis against performance indicators and ensure continued improvement
- Own, develop and implement the project risk management strategy aligned with the Departments policies and requirements to provide consistency and appropriate escalation of risk issues

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Risk/ Safety / Project Management / Engineering and/or relevant industry experience
- Experience in Rail, road or building and construction.
- Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
