At C&K Bradman Street Community Long Day Care, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning Monday to Friday, with flexible booking options.

We are proud of our spacious natural outdoor learning environment, with leafy trees, grass, dirt, leaves, and wildlife such as native birds and possums nesting in the trees. Our nature-based playground inspires challenging and open-ended play where children are provided with uninterrupted time to explore and engage in learning. We respect children as powerful learners, thinkers, theorisers and active citizens.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic full time Assistant Director to join our team and assist in managing our Centre. As the Assistant Director, you'll be the right-hand person to our Director, helping to oversee the day-to-day operations. This role offers you the chance to work with a fantastic team, develop and implement exciting projects, and shape the future of our Centre.

With energy, creativity and care, you’ll lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children aged 0 to 5 years in our play-based learning environment. You’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development so they can become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by taking full ownership of the centre’s operation, documentation and program delivery while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.

**What you’ll bring**

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:

- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
