A successful and award-winning restaurant currently has an opportunity for an Events & Reservations Coordinator
- Experienced in Functions & Events Coordination preferable

This is a key role in the company and will be responsible for organising and running all Functions and Events, primarily weddings.

**About us**:The Lighthouse Restaurant is a long-established, award-winning venue perched on Cleveland Point overlooking Moreton Bay including the surrounding islands. We pride ourselves on using local products to produce simple, tasty dishes. The Lighthouse has a 300-seat Restaurant, 100-seat cafe/bar and takeaway outlet. We are considered one of the premier entertainment venues in the area and have been recognised on a state and national level.

**About the Role**: We are looking for a dedicated and highly organised Events & Reservations Coordinator to join our team. This key role will be responsible for coordinating all functions and events, primarily weddings, ensuring smooth operations from enquiry to completion. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be a key point of contact for our valued guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administration & Reservations:_
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining customer databases.
- Organise and maintain office systems, including website updates (events, menus) and relevant logs (e.g., Health Department, Pest Control).
- Assist with some financial management tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Function/Events & Promotions Coordination:_
- Serve as the first point of contact for all venue enquiries, including functions and events.
- Maintain and innovate function procedures for improved service delivery.
- Oversee events and functions to ensure they run smoothly.
- Assist with public relations and advertising campaigns.
- Develop and manage event budgets and pricing.
- Target new markets and assess marketing options for business growth.

**The Successful Applicant Will Have**:

- Experience in coordinating functions and events, particularly weddings.
- Strong customer service skills, including a professional phone manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Own means of transport.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
