AIN/Disability Support Worker
Gladesville NSW
Casual position - Flexible roster

**Our Mission**
TriCare Health Services is a vibrant and expanding business who are devoted to supporting people in our community, to live meaningful lives, with the help of our valued and trusted Support Workers. We are seeking several staff to fulfil weekly available shifts within the **Gladesville NSW**
- **Shifts that requiring filling are as listed below**:_

Current available shifts include:
**Monday - Sunday: 9am - 9pm. This is deligated as either 9am-3pm/11am-3pm/9am-9pm (depending on staff availability)**

The hourly rate ranges from $35 - $74.8/hr, depending of the shift time

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous experience with people diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND)
- Previously used BiPAP machine and PEG tube for feeding
- Ability to utilise mobility aids for showering/toileting
- Driver’s Licence with own reliable transport
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (Minimum 2 doses)
- Current CPR and/or First AID certificate

**Desired Criteria**:

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check

**The Successful Applicant**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Previous experience in the above mentioned tasks
- An enthusiastic outlook and open and friendly personality
- A compassionate and empathetic demeanour
- Strong relationship-building skills and good time management
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills with individuals experiencing and living with disabilities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and support to our clients living with disabilities
- Knowledge and experience with BiPAP machine and PEG tubes/feeding
- Knowledge and experience with manual handling and the use of mobility equipment. This includes commode chairs and wheelchairs
- Be flexible with shift availabilities. You must be available for both shifts mentioned
- Assist with personal care (toileting/showering), domestic household duties, meal preparations, and medication administration
- Basic administrative tasks for shift documentation
- Report to management in case of any incidents or issues
