Founded by Dr Catherine Hamlin, Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation is an independent charity established to raise funds and awareness for Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia to eradicate obstetric fistula, and support partnership development. _Their vision is simple: To eradicate obstetric fistula. Forever._

For more than six decades, Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia has focussed on the treatment and prevention of one of the most horrific childbirth injuries - obstetric fistula. Today, Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia is a healthcare network of over 550 Ethiopian staff servicing six hospitals, the Desta Mender rehabilitation centre, the Hamlin College of Midwives and 90 Hamlin-supported midwifery clinics. While the eradication of fistula in Ethiopia once seemed impossible, it is becoming a reality that will be achieved due to the growing movement of generous supporters who are determined to see this dream come true. Philanthropy powers this important vision, as well as providing much-needed support for Treatment, Prevention, Rehabilitation and Reintegration programs.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Coordinator will support in the implementation of strategies to increase philanthropic support for Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation (CHFF) from trusts and foundations, major donors, and corporates.

About YOU
- Demonstrated experience in successful grant writing or equivalent experience, Well-developed interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills (oral and written),
- Strong knowledge of fundraising and the donor journey and communication channels, with particular reference to philanthropic trusts and foundations and major donors,
- Highly developed administration and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders,
- Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple ongoing tasks,
- Strong research skills,
- Experience working with a CRM / donor database,
- Certificate or Diploma in Fundraising/ Marketing/Sales/Philanthropy or similar field is advantageous.
