**The Opportunity**

As Supervisor of the UniSC Tax Clinic, you’ll guide and support students as they deliver tax services to eligible clients at our Moreton Bay and Caboolture campuses. Working under the direction of the Clinic Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping their skills while making a real difference in the community.

**You will**
- provide direct supervision of students while providing tax services for eligible clients.
- train students prior to and while they work in the Clinic;
- oversee record-keeping by students regarding client interactions;
- provide periodic feedback to students on their performance and liaise with the Director, Tax Clinic, regarding any student performance issues;
- complete online evaluations of students at the end of each semester and provide feedback to the WIL Coordinator, School of Business and Creative Industries about the WIL placement experience;
- contribute to the delivery of workshops and seminars in the community; and
- contribute to a positive and safe work environment for staff and students, by modelling and promoting conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.

**About you**

You’re an exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex information clearly to non-technical audiences, whether in conversation or formal settings. Your strong interpersonal and relationship management skills enable you to build effective connections, understand client needs, and provide accurate, tailored advice. You thrive on tackling complex queries with professionalism and delivering solutions that make a difference.

**You will possess**:

- completion of a postgraduate qualifications in taxation, including being a registered tax agent with extensive relevant experience;
- demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to evaluate and provide feedback on performance;
- significant organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative in a complex work environment;
- well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain highly effective working relationships, including demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences verbally and in formal settings; and
- excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills including experience in identification and interpretation of clients’ needs, providing accurate advice and dealing with complex queries.
