**The Role**

Based at Sureway’s Port Adelaide Office, full time permanent role.

Change lives and build stronger communities as an Employment Consultant. Work with a caseload of job seekers with disability, empower them to set clear goals to move into sustainable work.

Alongside job seeker support get out on the road. Use your existing connections with local businesses to meet with employers and source vacancies. Advocate for our clients and help them see the advantages of hiring people with disability.

Being new to the employment or disability industry is not a problem. If you have a positive attitude, ability to manage your workload / priorities, confidence with a variety of customer relationships, and solid administration skills you can succeed with us.

**The day to day**
- Assist clients to set goals for employment including identifying smaller steps along the journey
- Work with employers to help them understand what to expect when hiring someone with disability (e.g. better attendance, great commitment, etc)
- Help clients into work, and support employers and clients to sustain it
- Collaborate with your teammates
- Maintain accurate records

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia.
