Operations Supervisor

**About the role**:
REMONDIS Australia is a leading player in the waste management industry, committed to delivering efficient and environmentally responsible waste solutions. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Operations Supervisor** to join our team and drive excellence in our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement daily runs and route optimisation in conjunction with Operations staff, Drivers, and Sales representatives.
- Schedule and optimise routes for waste collection and disposal.
- Oversee the daily operations of trucks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and the NHVR.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Manage rosters and labour hire to meet operational demands.
- Lead and engage teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and improve operational performance, ensuring high standards of service.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports for management review.
- Effectively communicate with Customers, and drivers to ensure collection services and equipment deliveries meet and /or exceed the customers’ expectations.
- Ensure customer service level expectations are met and /or exceeded

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in scheduling routes, truck mechanical knowledge, supervisring contractors, rosters, and engaging labour hire.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background in the waste industry, manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- HR licence preferable but not essential
