**About the role**:
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the supervision of a small team and the daily operations of our new plastic processing facility in Jandakot. You will work autonomously, to help establish the new operation, ensuring productivity levels are set and maintained within budget.

More specifically, you will:

- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Erema LDPE Extruder, including directing the team with the separation and sorting of recyclables in order to achieve the goal of maintaining the highest quality level of end product
- Assume a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and continuity of our production line
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
- Monitor and adjust parameters to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- Ensure all production activities are monitored to minimise downtime
- Inventory management of stock, consumables & waste
- Ensure a high degree of housekeeping at all times

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience working as a Supervisor within a extrusion, plastic extrusion and/or injection moulding environment
- Have previously established operating processes and procedures, including safety, staff rosters (Kronos), etc
- Possess strong leadership capabilities, including daily management, safety, training, coaching, etc
- Take ownership and accountability for the efficient and timely operations and work practices of the operations, including site cleanliness and safety, maintenance, repairs, load materials for collection
- Team player, willing to pitch in, support and help when required
- Forklift Licence / Front End Loader or Telehandler Licence
