We are seeking an Experienced Disability Support Worker in Canberra ACT. Female support workers preferred. Contract position available.

**About Us**:
My Personal Carer was established to provide support with respect and dedication to those who need it most. We want our clients to focus on what is important to them and leave the hard parts to us.

**Duties**
- Provide personalised care and support to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
- Implement care plans and maintain accurate records.
- Adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

**Key skills and Qualification**
- Must be living with the legal right to work to Australia (Canberra ACT)
- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid (Valid for three years) and CPR (Valid for 12 months)
- Related Qualifications (eg: Certificate in Disability, Aged Care and/or Home and Community Care)
- A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (for Community Access)
