We have an opportunity for a Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team at Bethanie Waters, located in Port Kennedy.

This is a permanent part-time position with the current work pattern available:
Week 1: Mon, Tues 9:30 -16:00 and Sat, Sun 10:30 - 15:30

Week 2: Mon, Tues 9:30 - 16:00 and Sat, Sun 8:00 - 13:00 (_OR_ 10:30 - 15:30 Option)

**About the role**:

- Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Sort and wash linen by wash temperature, colour, degree of soiling, infectious nature, fabric and fibre
- Load and unload washing machine and tumble dryers
- Sort and fold clean and dry linen for dispatch to sites
- Report damage or wear and recommend repairs or replacement
- Support maintenance of equipment

You will also have the opportunity to work in other areas of our hospitality team including Domestic Cleaning or Kitchen Hand.

**About you**
- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Laundry Assistant ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- You bring a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of appropriate chemical usage relating to laundry processes
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
