Bethanie, Western Australia’s leading not for profit aged care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for over 65 years. We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to residents at our Bethanie Waters Aged Care Facility. Bethanie Waters 160 bed modern aged care facility offering a secure area for local residents with dementia or similar and associated conditions.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.

Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

We currently have roles available on a **part time** basis (**minimum on 20 hours/week**), with rosters across both **morning** and **afternoon** shifts.

**The Role**:

- Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Previous experience working in the aged care industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Current NDIS Clearance or willing to get one
- Experience using ICare or similar computer package highly regarded
