The Valve Fitter will perform maintenance, dismantling, inspections, calibration and repair work on an extensive range of safety relief valves.
- Interface with SRV Engineering personnel to perform workshop valve inspection, maintenance, testing (pre / post), and / or repair of valves.
- Perform valve testing utilising certified test equipment and complete all QA/QC documentation as required.
- Perform workshop disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of valves.
- Machine material and /or parts with various machining equipment.
- Ensure work and used materials are in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for assembly, repair, and reassembly as required including completion of applicable quality documentation in either paper or electronic form.
- Perform failure assessments and make recommendations to the supervisor as required.
- Perform day-to-day and routine safety observations and inspections.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Mechanical engineering: 3 years (required)

- Australia (preferred)
