**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician is responsible for the day to day operational maintenance and building presentation.
- Perform general maintenance and repair work within the facility
- Perform daily inspections and report on condition of affecting operations
- Respond to emergencies
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, security, and other systems
- Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
- Support any afterhours building needs, special events and activities as required
- Interact with on site service providers to monitor works being performed
- Monitor fulfilment of service contracts for all plant and equipment
- Data entry for environmental Health & Safety records
- Coordinate the logistics for deliveries and receiving of materials and equipment
- Maintain high standard of appearance and operation throughout the facility
- Other assigned tasks as requested

**Qualifications**:

- Trade qualification desired
- Commercial building maintenance experience
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office Suite
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift 25kgs
- Ability to prioritise and multi task
- Strong problem solving skills
- Willingness and flexibility to meet the changing requirements of the job
- Knowledge of AutoCad and PDF blueprints, would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
