Mergent Recruitment are partnering with and award winning multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy providing services and solutions to the development, property and urban infrastructure sectors across Australia.

We are searching for a Field based Soil Technician, who will provide technical advice and assistance, train and mentor less experienced technicians and provide leadership.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**:

- Demonstrated experience and extensive knowledge of laboratory and field testing
- Understanding of AS3798, AS1289, AS1012, AS 1141 and AS1726
- Certificate IV in laboratory techniques
- Construction induction white card
- Current drivers license (and ability to drive manual vehicles)
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit and prepared to undertake labour intensive tasks
- Experience working on tier 1 & 2 civil construction projects
- Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency essential
- Current Nuclear Density User Licence

The team will work on various infrastructure projects, as well as delivering high quality testing and reliable results on metro and rural sites throughout South Australia.

The research laboratory offers state-of-the-art testing facilities, a fully equipped mobile fleet and the opportunity to work on high profile sites across SA.
