This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic Club Manager looking to lead our health club team and drive members achieve their goals.

**The Role**

A once in a lifetime opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering the highest level of Health and Fitness programming to the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s $50mil Aquatic & Recreation Centre located in Rosebud.

As the Health and Fitness Manager you will be a strong people leader who will be responsible for the recruitment, ongoing training and development of all Health and Fitness staff. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the health club, group fitness and personal training programs and will provide leadership and direction to ensure we meet the health and fitness needs of the community.

The Health and Fitness Manager’s key accountabilities include:

- Create and deliver strong member engagement offerings that attract high attendance
- Oversee and grow all areas of Personal Training ensuring all sessions are tailored to our client’s needs
- Support the Coordinators with all ongoing recruitment
- Work with the Group Fitness Coordinator to provide quality group fitness programming
- (including seasonal / quarterly updates as well as new innovative programs based on customer needs)
- Ensure all fitness programs are managed and inline within legislative guidelines
- Ensure all health club and group fitness equipment is in safe working order at all times
- Achieve Direct Debit Membership budget in conjunction with Sales & Guest Experience Team
- Manage and monitor all income and expenses in line with approved budgets
- Promotion and growth of high yielding memberships
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder partnerships

**About You**

You will be a leader open to new ideas and discovering creative opportunities to get the community moving. You have experience in leading a team to achieve collective and individual targets and are truly passionate about helping others achieve their goals. You have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships with people and teams.

Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience in Leading teams within the Health and Fitness Industry and proven experience as a personal trainer or exercise physiologist. Leading by example is a high priority and you can positively influence and negotiate win-win outcomes. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect leadership and accountability.

About the Qualifications
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
- Current National Police Check
- Leadership and Management Skills
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Exercise Science qualification (desirable)
- Experience working in a Health Club Environment
- Experience in leading a Health & Fitness Team
