Copywriter

**How will I help?**

Reporting to the Creative Director of Westpac’s In-House Agency, your role as a Copywriter is to compose, craft and deliver compelling, effective, creative and strategic copy for key Westpac brands ; to achieve varied creative and strategic objectives.
- Key responsibilities include: _
- Composing and finessing creative and strategic copy including; direct to consumer communication, campaign copy, long form articles, headline and sub copy, digital asset and social copy and presentations for B2B, B2C and internal communication channels
- Working alongside key In-House Agency creatives and strategists to create and deliver best-in-class copy and tone for our brands, including brand tone documents
- Supporting internal stakeholders, marketing and digital teams and corporate affairs to deliver copy and content across our owned assets for a variety of corporate and consumer briefs
- Creating headline and sub copy for WBC/s web and digital channels and internal/ external communication
- Creating and delivering copy that meets SEO requirements for digital assets
- Concept development for a variety of strategic and creative briefs

- Excellent writing skills
- A passion for copy and content
- An inquisitive and curious mind with an obsession for learning
- An ability to adapt to differing tonal requirements and points of view with every brief
- A passion to finesse copy and focus on the detail
- Digital channel writing experience - web, social, display
- Social channel experience - understanding platform opportunities
- Experienced long-form writer; articles, letters, advertorials etc
- SEO knowledge and understanding
- Ability to bring an idea to life, through words, from brief to delivery
- Ability to take a creative idea and adapt the idea across multiple deliverables and channels
- Strong, positive and self-motivated team player
- An interest in ideation and concept development
