We are an exciting and expanding artisan bakery in Sydney’s upper North Shore and are currently looking for a Head Baker to join the team. We are looking for a qualified baker that has extensive experience in artisan sourdough, natural fermentation, yeast and pastry products.

**The ideal person will have**:

- a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position
- extensive experience producing high quality sourdough
- experience leading, rostering and managing a team of (10) experienced as well as trainee bakers is essential
- production scheduling
- stock Control
- ensure Food Safety Compliance
- manage department performance to meet KPI's (Labour & Waste)
- experience in a growing business
- an ability to lead by example
- great communication and interpersonal skills
- a good work ethic
- sound leadership, diplomacy and the ability to resolve complex problems
- ability to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
