- We are currently growing rapidly and have an exciting opportunity for a _**_Community Engagement Lead_**_ to join our team in our collaborative space in Alexandria._

**Position Overview**:
The purpose of this role is to build strong relationships and sales opportunities as the client-facing representative for business development. You will drive these opportunities and growth through connecting with Hospitals, Allied health, government funding bodies and any other referral pathways established. Core to your role is assessing the needs of potential customers and ensuring that United for Care and provide the service and support they require.
To excel in this role, you need to be an active listener, care deeply about the customer experience and a natural ability to connect with people.
**Key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Build, manage and retain strong relationships with key referrers such as Allied health professionals, Support Coordinators, mental health units etc.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective referrers
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of United for Care services and the differing target markets
- Meet and/or exceed quarterly KPIs ensuring that the United for Care customer base continue to increase
- Identify new business opportunities including - new locations to expand into, industry trends, partnerships
- Nurture enquiries through to sales pipeline maintaining meaningful engagement through the customer journey
- Promote United for Care through word of mouth, attending relevant expos and industry events
- Forward plan United for Care events and promotional activity for the year Develop and send quarterly updates to referrers with updates regarding their customers
- Follow industry trends and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the NDIS and funding requirements
- Provide regular reporting and visibility regarding new customers referred in and new referral pathways established
- Work closely with Marketing to brief in sales and promotional activities with the objective of raising brand awareness and attracting new referrers and customers
- Attend internal meetings and provide updates regarding leads, trends and areas of improvement
**About you**:
- Experience working in the disability sector or client centred care
- Results driven professional
- High EQ with the ability to connect with customers and unpack their needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication with excellent influencing and facilitation skills
- Work autonomously and effectively as past of a team.
- Current Drivers License
