- About the roleReporting to the National Manger of MGA & Schemes, this role sits within the MGA (Managing General Agent) team in Underwriting. The MGA team manage all of Zurich’s external underwriting partnerships in General Insurance (such as Cover More and NM Insurance).

The MGA & Schemes Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the MGA and SME schemes portfolios across commercial, retail and SME lines of business. The role will liaise with general insurance functions such as claims, operations, finance, pricing and reserving to ensure the smooth operation of the partnerships.

The role will include external relationship management, ensuring our MGA partners adhere to Zurich’s Delegated Programs Framework, internal compliance/governance requirements and external regulations.

This role also works closely with the Platforms team and the SME Underwriting team to deliver on-boarding of new SME schemes and manages existing schemes to retain business and grow the SME scheme portfolio profitably.
- Important to your success- Good knowledge & broad understanding of General Insurance Products
- 2 years + insurance experience (underwriting preferred but not essential)
- Experience with stakeholder management & delivering tasks to deadlines
- Experience in fostering & maintaining relationships
- General understanding of insurance governance, compliance & regulatory requirements
- General understanding of insurance contracts and intermediary agreements
