**Technical Lead - Electrical - QLD**

Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver engineering, construction, operations and maintenance services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and transmission and distribution assets.

**About the role**:
The Technical Lead - Electrical Engineering reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for supporting the establishment, development and delivery of the technical design works in the power space. The role is responsible for leading the engineering discipline within Zinfra in technical matters, to produce technical IP including specifications and standards, and facilitate technical development of the relevant discipline engineers. The role also supports accurate and timely design solution tender deliverables, value engineering, risk identification & management and project delivery support.

The role is required to develop and maintain a close relationship with key internal and external stakeholders including operations personnel, key clients, external design consultants.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead, develop and maintain technical standards and designs
- Previous experience working as a mentor to develop other engineers in different levels
- knowledge to balance cost, time and quality outcomes in design to benefit Zinfra and our clients in both concept and detailed design stage
- Provide innovative and unique solution which can save cost and time
- Experience in end-to-end Procurement processes Knowledge and experience of Tendering Systems & Bid Processes
- Previous experience building solid relationships including Customer Drivers / Customer Needs
- Previous background working within the power industry and ability to pass on Industry knowledge
- Good knowledge of national and international technical standards related to engineering design

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in design and design management for energy networks or related sectors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to promote and represent Zinfra to our customers
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in primary concept and detailed design
- Experience in Secondary concept and detailed design
- Experience working in Bid Teams
- Experience in Solution Development and innovation
- Experience in Constructability reviews and construction industry
- Experience in building & maintaining working Relationships between team members and others
- Extensive experience within a similar role and with a proven track record
