Technical Lead

Our client is one of the leading global technology and consulting company.They are currently looking forward to hire OPERATIONS AND INTERFACE TECHNICAL LEAD.

Working closely with the Project Manager, relevant internal and external stakeholders, coordinate and manage the planning and execution of the technical solutions. Provide technical guidance to the project team on the software solutions being implemented. Provide regular updates Project Manager, Technical Lead and other relevant parties on implementation progress, issues and risks that affect solutions implementation and integration. Ensure compliance to projects' specifications, deliverables, budgets, and customer expectations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Individually contribute to software documentation, design, development, integrations, testing, and maintenance- Ensure the delivery of new features and initiatives to improve product, systems, integrations, codebases and software solutions
- Work closely with project team to support successful delivery outcomes
- Ensuring the regular delivery of software solutions, integrations and product features in accordance with project timelines, budgets and customer requirements
- Provide essential support and clarifications to project delivery team throughout the software implementation lifecycle, including management of change requests and corresponding adjustments to project scope.
- Actively participate in resolving any issues arising through all project phases from initial design through approval, implementation, deployment, commissioning and acceptance.
- Organise project reviews with internal senior management, third party resources and customers as required.
- Ensure compliance of sub-contractors and suppliers to project specifications, timelines and budgets.
- Ensure customer and subcontractor programmatic issues/progress are resolved including obtaining customer commitment to stated design limitations and design constraints ensuring long lead-time items are ordered in a timely manner.
- Develop, lead and maintain currency of the Project Plan including verification and validation plan; project standards; methodology; acceptance test plan and procedures ensuring compliance to project specifications, deliverables, customer expectations and budgets.
- Review and approve accordingly in Company systems billing proposals, purchase orders, order intakes etc.
- Alert relevant staff of any irregularity, lack of compliance, lack of adherence and any related issues whether actual or potential, concerning business activities that could or does have a significant risk implication for the company.
- Adhere at all times to the Company's quality control, occupational, health, safety and environmental requirements to perform core tasks and duties effectively;
- Other duties as required from time to time in line with skills, experience and qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering/ computer science
- At least 5 years' experience in similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability to understand program details underway, summarise key concerns, provide corrective action recommendations, and develop action plans
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify risks and opportunities across large, complex programs
- Must be highly organised with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Must be proactive with a demonstrated ability to anticipate actions and impacts
- Must be a team player with a demonstrated ability to adapt to continually changing situations and responsibilities
- Must have fine-tuned attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Highly developed skills in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours
- Microservices backend experience in JAVA, with Spring and Hibernate frameworks as cornerstones.
- Front Web developed in Angular 8 oriented to Responsive design, using PrimeNG as a UI component library, and OpenLayers library.
- REST APIs under Swagger for synchronous communications
- Apache ActiveMQ Artemis communications brokers with MQTT and AMQP protocols for real-time asynchronous communication.
- Websockets with STOMP protocol for real-time disseminating information.

- Dockers orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
- Keycloak performs authentication and authorisation management server functions.
- NGINX as a web server, with the functionality available as a reverse proxy and load balancer.
- Pivotal Redis as cache and distributed storage in memory
- PostgreSQL as a repository for configuration data and historical information.
- The reporting and BI module is based on PowerBI
- JasperReports for reports.
- Apache Superset
- Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure).
