What does the job look like?

Linfox Queensland Mining Service business is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join the team in Richlands. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring inbound and outbound linehaul & PUD operations run efficiently, in line with the Linfox and customer requirements. Key areas:

- Participate and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR at all times
- Oversee cross-dock operations ensuring freight is planned, sorted and safely loaded and manifested
- Maintain accurate records management ensuring all freight movements are captures in TMS
- First point of contact for Brisbane mining customers, their vendors & subcontractors
- Continuous improvement initiatives to improve process and make work more efficient
- Provide support to the broader Mining Services team as required

Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment
- A strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and mass management
- Detailed knowledge of transportation and warehousing and/or receipting functions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Excel and SAP will be highly regarded
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures
