**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough legal research on corporate tax matters and provide well-reasoned opinions to clients.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international business operations.
- Prepare and review legal documentation related to tax matters, including agreements, contracts, and compliance documents.
- Assist in negotiations and discussions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Participate in client meetings, contributing insights to strategic decision-making.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior legal associates, fostering their professional growth.
- Prepare and deliver legal training sessions for clients and colleagues on current corporate tax issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Admission to the Australian legal practice as a solicitor.
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate tax law, gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical advice.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively.
